Israel is one of the world's greatest sailing nations - yet it has never competed in Olympic catamaran sailing. Not at the youth level. Not at the Olympic level. This untapped discipline has limited Israel's medal potential across the board.
ISR 36 is changing that. We are building Israel's first-ever Olympic campaign in the Nacra 17 - the high-performance foiling catamaran that flies above the water at speeds exceeding 30 knots.
Training year-round in Southern California, the exact venue for 2028 Olympic sailing, gives us a home advantage no other nation can match.

Mika Sternberg
Award-winning competitive sailor, born in Tel Aviv and raised in Los Angeles. An Israeli National Champion and former member of the US Olympic Development Team, she received a best athlete scholarship and raised $70K+ for sailing through crowdfunding.
Yogev Alcalay
A European Champion and 5× Youth National Champion, Yogev also finished 5th at the 2024 European Championship. Based in Sdot Yam, Israel, he is a member of the Israeli National Team & Olympic Committee squad.
Udi Gal
4-time Israeli Olympian and one of the most decorated figures in Israeli sailing history, based in San Francisco. Brings unmatched Olympic expertise to the ISR 36 campaign.
Yago Lange
Argentine Olympic sailor who raced the 49er at Rio 2016 and grew up in one of sailing's legendary Olympic families — son of Nacra 17 Olympic gold medalist Santiago Lange. Brings world-class high-performance and campaign experience to ISR 36.
